Yesterday afternoon, the professors of the Department of Chemistry, University "Federico II" Naples, Professors M. Iuliano and F. Saviour, with the technical dr. G. de Tommaso, and President of Doctors for the Environment, dr. Gaetano Rivezzi, Dr Giulia Rivezzi, and myself (see . footage and photos), we carried out, with two wonderful farmers, various samples of water wells in the countryside andreolane in town and close to the CDR and the former tannery. The intent was to di analizzare la “purezza” delle acque, cercare l’eventuale presenza di metalli pesanti ed altri inquinanti. Non vi nascondo l’imbarazzo che ho provato mentre accompagnavo questi scienziati: strade rotte, buche, discariche di rifiuti a cielo aperto per le campagne e sui cigli delle strade. Si aveva la sensazione di un ambiente surreale, spoglio, nauseante, con la presenza di scene di sesso mercenario che in verità ben si inquadravano nel degrado che ci circondava. Spero che almeno i risultati delle analisi, che i Ricercatori hanno promesso di farmi avere, non ci riservino delle brutte sorprese. Ma già le immagini che si sono presentate dinanzi ai nostri occhi non ci fanno presagire nulla di buono… Mentre con mind I imagine the faces of our directors, still struggling with the appointment del'ennesimo Councillor, more than three years before the elections ...
